About
I have been "crafty" my entire life. I even had my own jewellery business when I was in elementary school! Being creative has always been a stress reliever and a much needed outlet for me. I've dabbled in lots of mediums including beading, painting, woodwork...
It wasn't until a friend of mine and I started talking about Macrame and how she'd always wanted to have a piece made. Of course, I was eager to take the task on and try it out, after all I had experience with knots from my elementary days making hemp bracelets. So here I was, making my first piece measuring in at 3x4 feet. I guess you could say I jumped right in. From then on, I was hooked.
My Macrame then evolved into needle felting when my sister asked me to make a mobile for my soon to be nephew. And that settled that, I loved creating these cute little creatures from nothing.
My first macrame bow was inspired by my daughter and the collection has grown ever since. I guess you could say that my work is inspired and influenced by my family and friends.
The rope I use is all sourced within Canada from female owned shops, something that is very important to me.
Thank you for reading my story and visiting my site. I'm excited to share my creations with you!
